All about water
...a photo book...
Talk About Water is a photo book all about water. The text, by Angela Webb, includes information about what water is, how it functions, where it functions, and how important it can be to life on Earth. It also includes activities that the reader may try with water, and questions about what the reader thinks will happen in certain scenarios that involve water and other materials.
The photos, taken by Chris Fairclough, are good at showing the reader what the text is talking about, and is accurate throughout the book.
Talk About Water would be a example of informational text. Students may engage in an activity in which they choose their own subject (any subject other than water) to write about. The combination of each student's work would result in a "Talk About Everything Book".
